Paul Huppert is founder and owner of Noteworthy Music, a bookings, chamber music promotion, and education business. A native of Minneapolis, Paul began his violin studies at the age of seven. He was Concertmaster of the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies, as well as first prize winner of the WAMSO competition, and appeared as soloist with the Minnesota Orchestra. Mr. Huppert has served as Concertmaster -- Cincinnati Ballet Orchestra, Concertmaster -- Savannah Symphony, Associate Concertmaster -- Charlotte (NC) Symphony, Concertmaster -- Bear Vallery Music Festival, and Section Violin -- Chautauqua and Grant Park Festival Orchestras. He has appeared as violin soloist with numerous orchestras, including the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and the Savannah, Des Moines, and Charlotte Symphony Orchestras.
Currently, Mr. Huppert is an adjunct professor of violin and coordinates string chamber music at Webster University. Recently appointed Principal Second Violin with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra, Mr. Huppert also performs in the capacity of Cocnertmaster with the St. Louis Chamber Orchestra, Associate Concertmaster -- Bach at the Seminary Series, and is a regular performer with the Fox Theatre and St. Louis Ballet orchestras. In 2006, Mr. Huppert launched the Spectrum Music Series. In 2008/09, the Concerto Soloists of St. Louis will be introduced as a nonprofit organization, committed to outreach and collaborative education opportunities in the greater St. Louis region.

Noteworthy Music utilizes the top musical talent from the Saint Louis region. Noteworthy Music's roster includes musicians affiliated with: Saint Louis Symphony, MUNY Opera Orchestra, faculty of Washington University, faculty of Webster University, and other fine arts organizations.


Education is geared primarily to youngsters ages 7 through 17 with scale classes focusing on the basics of violin technique. When the appropriate level has been achieved, the student then focuses on chamber music. In chamber music classes, students address sightreading, style, and musicality plus they perform in recitals quarterly.


Noteworthy Music presents the Spectrum Music Series promoting live chamber music in a format that is both informative as well as stimulating to listeners of varying styles and periods of music. Whether baroque or contemporary, the Noteworthy Chamber Players will provide a memorable listening experience.
